Since the start of these operations, activities have been annually shared with regulatory agencies, with updated operational licenses. Initially with the Brazilian National Department of Mineral Production (DNPM), later with the Brazilian National Mining Agency (ANM), established in 2017.

Environmental licensing for the salt wells and brine pipeline was granted by the Alagoas Institute of the Environment (IMA), whose oversight ensured strict compliance with restrictions. In addition to regular license renewals, Braskem also annually submitted technical monitoring reports of the salt wells to IMA.
